Why we plant trees
Bikes and eBikes can play an important role in more sustainable transport, but we recognise that manufacturing products still has an environmental footprint. As a bike company, we spend our days thinking about the places people ride, explore and enjoy. We want those environments to be protected for future generations too.
That's why we created our Buy One, Plant One pledge: For every Reid bike or scooter purchased, we fund the planting of a tree through our reforestation partner, veritree.

We partner with veritree to help direct our tree-planting contributions towards restoration projects where they can have meaningful environmental and social benefits.
Why Mangrove restoration?
Mangroves are among the world's most important coastal ecosystems. They can store carbon, support biodiversity and help protect coastal communities from erosion and extreme weather. Through our partnership with veritree, Reid supports projects that help restore these valuable ecosystems.
